Countdown To The African Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum Growth Accelerator Programme 2018 Has Begun

The 2018 African Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum Growth Accelerator Programme (AWIEF) with the theme Unleashing ideas: innovation, sustainability and enterprise growth”, is a platform where the best of African female entrepreneurs innovators come together to showcase their exceptional talents, innovations and ideas. The platform seeks to empower South African women behind mastermind businesses who are in the game of innovation colliding in different sectors and causing explosive results.

The AWIEF Accelerator programme will pursue up to 25 participants to access them financial support and growth strategy to scale their enterprises. The six-week programme will be taking place in Cape Town and Johannesburg in September till November 2018. Those that will be attending this programme, can look forward to leaving equipped with knowledge that will carry them through their business skills and innovation space.

The programme will concentrate on creating a competitive edge through new and convergent thinking, which will include a local and international plenary, panel debates, break-away sessions, highly interactive workshops and in-depth matchmaking service, facilitated by industry giants.

Challenges that female entrepreneurs, developer’s researchers, thought leaders and inventors face on a daily basis will be put on the table of discussion and powerful tools to overcome and find a solution to these challenges and issues.

The Growth Accelerator programme will activate and promote businesses based on their purpose, values, target market, competitive landscape and value proposition; delivery model, financial modeling, a creative conduct, growth strategy financial for scale; and pitching and training.

Participants will get a chance to pitch their business to an audience of investors, business leaders, and corporate-decision-makers, where three best business ventures will win prizes from the AWIEF. The programme will conclude with a Conference, Exhibition and Awards event that will take place on the 8 and 9 November in Cape Town International Convention Centre.
