To Assist Investors, SAFCOIN Launches Its First Call Centre In South Africa

By  |  October 25, 2018

SAFCOIN believes in the power cryptocurrency as the alternative asset class. However, it also acknowledges the concerns of investors for the apparent lack of information around this investment method. The surge in the popularity of cryptocurrency is leaving people with a lot of questions, so much so that myths have even been created around the subject.

SAFCOIN, which is the first on the African continent to launch an exclusive ICO for South Africans, wants to ensure that its buyers remain absolutely clear about their transactions. A total of 500,000 SAFCOIN tokens are available exclusively to South Africa during the ICO. This gives South Africans an opportunity to invest in SAFCOIN during this lucrative start-up phase, before the remaining 5 million crypto coins are listed on an exclusive African exchange. At the same time, tokens purchased during the ICO will be migrated to coins.

To assist interested investors who are unfamiliar with cryptocurrency trading, SAFCOIN launched the first South African crypto call centre in Western Cape Garden Route last month.

“Blockchain and cryptocurrency are a confusing and unfamiliar concept to many Africans, and this is hindering widespread adoption,” says Neil Ferreira, CEO and co-founder of Safcoin. “With SAFCOIN, we hope to educate more people about the benefits of cryptocurrency and help them understand how and where to trade, so that they can be part of the global digital currency revolution and Africa’s cryptocurrency history.”

There is always a benefit in spreading the risk in investment, and Neil emphasises to SAFCOIN subscribers’s to be smart enough not to park all their investment risk in one place. The team takes utmost precaution in ensuring the safety of clients’s cryptocurrency. SAFCOIN also ensures regular audit of its development process by engaging third-party security auditors.

The call centre will offer education and support services on cryptocurrency trading, online purchasing, and cryptocurrency transfer across the continent. Support is currently offered in English, isiZulu, isiXhosa and Afrikaans. There are also plans to add more languages in the future.

FHM (Pty) Ltd is a registered member of the World Blockchain Association. SAFCOIN is also a member of the Blockchain Association of Africa.
