Out of a 500-strong application pool, four startups have been hand picked by Co-creation Hub to take part in its 2018 incubation program. The Lagos based incubator will offer the four startups financial support, product development advice, mentorship as well as access to industry experts within the various fields.

The Lagos-based incubator took in applications from across the continent but the four chosen companies all represent West Africa. They will join a list of other startups such as Jekalo, GoMyWay and LifeBank who have all been part of the Hub’s incubation period. Three of the selected startups come from Nigeria and include, a customer experience management platform Identity Tech, property management app E-Estates, and e-health startup Doctoora. The final startup to join the list is Sierra Leone’s Track Your Build, a mapping, GIS and data management company.

Part of the package that these startups will receive is a USD 25 K in funding as well as USD 15 K in Amazon Web Services all with the aim of growing their reach in the region. Should the startups show tremendous growth and traction during the incubation period, they will qualify to access USD 250 K from Growth Capital over a 12-month period.

CcHub has a positive track record of having implemented accelerator programs for international and local partners, graduating 40+ active startups which the incubator claims have gone on to create over 500+ jobs. Additionally, they have in the past partnered with NOKIA, Intel, Enviu, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, GIZ and Endeva to successfully carry out their programs.
